Herbal medicine

Fascinated by herbs, Bec often refers to them as ‘magic in a bottle’. Herbal medicines are the oldest form of medicine. Herbs are grown from the ground and can be prepared in tinctures, creams, teas, poultices, etc. All tailor-made to suit individual needs.

Herbs naturally contain several active ingredients that work synergistically to have a therapeutic effect on toning an organ or body system while having minimal unwanted side effects. Just like humans, herbs are complex medicines with many actions available in a single herb and can therefore be used for several conditions. For example, lavender is renowned as a sedative, however can also be used as an anti-depressant, and topically can be used as an antiseptic.
