Ahh, finally the perfect balance of the omega family!


It is SO difficult to get sufficiet amounts of omega 3's in the diet, let alone the correct ratio of omega-3 and 6 fatty acids.


Omega-3 and 6 are vital for healing the gut lining, brain function and pretty much every cell in the body needs the correct balance of these 2 brothers.
Omega-9 fatty acid offers protection to cell membranes from free radicals.
Chia seed oil naturally contains vitamin E to help preserve the omega's from going rancid
It also contains phytosterols that can minimise the absorption of cholesterol in the diet - cholesterol helps us make our hormones and vitamin D - we need cholesterol from good sources like these oils!


I personally like to leave the fish alone and let them play with their friends in the sea because most fish oils on the shelves are already rancid (yes, off!), so they do more damage in the body than good.


Plus this has a nutty flavour to it, much more palatable than fish oil.
